I attempted to share a link, and while I can see that the list of papers is public when I attempt to open one of the pdf's it appears to link back to the forum, and prompts for login. Is there some place that the papers are availble without requiring a login? Or are you saying that a general Kaggle id is required but not entry into this specific competition?

Thanks again for the guidance.

The papers can be accessed here without logging in: https://www.kaggle.com/wiki/HeritageMilestonePapers

Gerold, SAS is already approved.

Do you mean "Stata"? If not, what's "Stat"?

I meant the statistic modul of SAS. If SAS is appoved in total than the question is answered.
What's about SPSS?

What about Risk Solver, a commercially available add-in for excel? (Available from Frontline Solvers)

So that would be a "NO" to my original question?
