Question to the organizers (or anyone who knows). The following line is taken from Claims.csv:

  00529616,1727574,340953,11593,Y2,Internal,Outpatient Hospital,23,1 day,8- 9 months,METAB3,3-4,SCS,1

The last column says that LengthOfStay is NULL because of suppression, but the LengthOfStay field says "1 day". This is the only such inconsistency in the entire file. Is there a chance the SupLOS field have been shifted or otherwise been misplaced? If I understand correctly, this field didn't exist in the first data set.

Also noticed that there are almost 2.6 million rows with LOS="".  Of these, 11,331 have supLOS=1.  The rest of them have supLOS=0.  Second, the data doesn't have any rows with LOS=8-12 or 12-26.  Was there an error in preparing the data or am I missing something here?

I want to know the interpretation about LOS and supLOS as well.
